On a multimedia website, the works of all different artists are interwoven into a collective overall composition. In the fall of 2023, the project will be presented for the first time in Hamburg. As part of an exhibition at Imagine the City Gästezimmer and a series of events at Kunsthaus Hamburg, the website will be made accessible to the public at both locations. In August 2020, a massive explosion destroyed the port of Beirut and devastated large parts of the city. Nearly 300 people were killed, almost 300,000 left homeless. After the catastrophe, the Lebanese government blatantly failed to support its people. Instead, living conditions continued to deteriorate due to hyperinflation and the pandemic. To date, nobody has been held responsible for the event. After the explosion, a group of artists from Beirut and Hamburg began to reinvestigate their personal relationship with the port. Based on an understanding that the two cities cannot be compared, they nevertheless asked: How are they linked to each other, where do they touch? In music and text, the two Berlin-based artists negotiate content from their independent artistic projects as well as their curatorial practice. In the northeast of Madagascar lives the Indri, a lemur species of which it is said that the souls of deceased humans live on in it. Because of human interference in its habitat, the species, also known as the monkey song, has itself long been threatened with extinction. The piercing howl of an Indri is at the beginning of "Mutaradim", the first joint release by Siska-K6 &amp; Felix Claßen. The two have recorded four pieces in which they uncover repressed memories, link the background noise of history with rage and new aggressiveness and revive them in the form of music. Redeem aims to build a temporary framework of exchange through which they can be widely heard and inspired by each other. Kino Al-Amir was part/teil von&nbsp;Draussenstadt&nbsp;in 2022. The Kino Projekt is a traveling cinema that focuses on local amateur film archive and questions of cultural memory. For this edition the Kino Projekt &nbsp;took&nbsp;place in Berlin as a Drive-in- cinema in collaboration with Hopscotch Reading Room screening a program with a special focus on Syria, Lebanon and &nbsp;the MENA region. In 2011 the Kino Projekt travelled to Aleppo and due to the out-break of the Syrian civil war, could not be realised on site until today. Reviving Cinema Al-Amir from Aleppo’s Baron Street in Berlin as a film platform for&nbsp;“cinema in exile, exile in cinema” screening&nbsp;three programs: Projecting Towards a Possible Future, Drive me Tender and Kino Al-Amir special co-curated by Philip Widmann. “Bring your car or radio, tune in, sit back, and enjoy the films!” Cinema Al-Amir neon designed by Nancy Naser Al-Deen&nbsp;and assisted by Siska. The neon was made by Neonardo. Graphic design poster and leaflet by ARC Gestaltung. The technical set up and management by Wahid Al Soloh aka Squat Deluxe.
